Obituary for Ronald "Vic" Trine

Ronald "Vic"  Trine
Ronald “Vic” Trine, 82, of Franklin, was prayed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 12, 2014.

Born in Indio, CA, he was the son of the late Victor Trine and Ruth Ellen Bowlin Trine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Ellen Blondun. Vic was a US Army veteran, past President of the Gem Capital Auto Club and member of First Alliance Church. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carmen Joy Trine; six children, Ronald V. Trine, Jr., Richard Randolph Trine, Tina Mae Romanowski, Robin Lea Haase, Catherine Jean Langereis and Victor Randal “Randy” Trine; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and God children, Bob and Deana Golding.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 28th at First Alliance Church. Rev. Scott Eichelberger and Rev. Carson Gibson will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Alliance Church Missions, The Great Commission Fund, 31 Promise Lane, Franklin, NC 28734.
