Joyce Louise  Cassada (Phillips)
Joyce Louise (Phillips) Cassada passed away October 2nd, 2014 at the age of 87 at the Tierra Pines Nursing Home in Largo.

She was born in North Carolina, lived in Ohio after getting married and moved to Florida in 1960 with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Walter Cassada, her parents, Marshall James and Lillie Lee Phillips and a brother James Phillips. She was a wonderful seamstress, loved decorating her home and helping others. Her greatest love and devotion was to her family.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey Cassada and daughter Elaine Jensen, son-in-law Wayne Jensen, grandsons and their families, Jamie and Christina; Jason and Summer and three great grandchildren Jameson, Justice and Ayven; brothers Albert, wife Ann, and George, wife Edna as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held October 8th, 2014 with visitation at 4:00 pm and funeral service at 5:00 pm at R. Lee Williams Funeral Home at 3530 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 (Disston Plaza Area).

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 11, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Suncoast Hospice.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
