Obituary for Ernest "Rocky" Harvey Allen Jr.
“Rocky” Ernest Harvey Allen, Jr., 64, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014.
Born in Orlando, FL, he was the son of the late Ernest Harvey Allen, Sr. and Diane Lee Allen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Jessica Stilwell Cheek and brother, Kenneth Allen. Rocky was a very well-known artist, with art being displayed across the country and at Disney World in Orlando. He was Christian by faith.
He is survived by a son, Eric Allen; nieces and nephews, Chris Allen, Jerry Stilwell, Kevin Allen, Diana Womacks and Kenneth Allen, Jr. and several great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 25, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home, PO Box 1175, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
