Charles Louis  Campbell
Charles Louis Campbell, 77, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late C.L. Campbell and Lavada Angel Campbell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clinton and Jim Campbell. Charles was a US Army veteran, member of Iotla Baptist Church and retired from Kerns Bread Company.

He is survived by his wife, Ursula Hedwig Campbell; daughter, Marcie Roper of High Point, NC and husband Bobby; two sisters, Ella Vee Woodard of Seneca and Lucille Allen of Franklin; one grandchild, Casey Roper and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, at Iotla Baptist Church. Dr. Jeff Hensley, Rev. Steve Reeves and the VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108 will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to, Four Seasons Hospice – Four Seasons Development Office 571 South Allen Road Flat Rock, NC 28731 or to the Iotla Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
