Elwood O’Shields, 39, of Otto, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014.

Born in Clayton, GA, he was the son of Rheba Owens Henslee and the late Harrison O’Shields. Elwood was a member of Life Church; he enjoyed sports, especially softball and basketball. He was fun, loving and enjoyed life.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Theresa Holland O’Shields; two children, Anna and Tucker; two brothers, Sam O’Shields and Ray O’Shields; aunt, Margie Stern and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Hughes will officiate.
