Condolence: "Losing someone you love is the greatest test.
He cannot be replaced, yes.
But we’re here for you, nonetheless.

With his passing, we know you were hurt the most.
Please know, we feel for your loss.

Love knows no boundaries—
Even those that divide Heaven and Earth.
So whenever you feel sad,
Just remember, your hearts are connected together.

No words can express how you feel,
But we will never leave you through this whole ordeal.

You were together through thick and thin.
No one wanted him leaving.
Please know we’re here in this time of grieving."

Love you

Condolence: Dawn and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Carl's sudden death. Our hearts hurt for you and your family. We pray that you will take comfort in knowing that God has love and purpose behind everything he brings into our lives. We would like to share with you words of comfort from Jeremiah 29:11,"For I know the plans I have for you, decares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future." Our prayers are with all of you.

Condolence: Such a loss, I am so very sorry. Carl and I worked at VBCCMH together for years. He always had a grand smile and a good joke. Carl was always friendly and made me feel like I was part of the group although I worked in another unit. I was always comfortable with Carl. Carl was a loving compassionate man who cared about so many. RIP Carl.

Condolence: Carl was my Mental Health mentor, and good friend. Many of the things he taught me we still use today in our care giving. Carl was a truely caring person and I could always count on him being there to help, as he use to say "Caring is a verb". He also gave me the gift of playing music. He handed me a bass and taught me to play. Thanks for the gift of music and the gift of being a care giver.

Condolence: Dear Dawn and family,
Our hearts ache with you at the sudden loss of Carl. We know how much joy and love God gave your family through Carl and we are deeply saddened for your entire family. Mom (Aunt Phyllis) was so pleased to be able to visit you last fall. She often spoke of her trip to see you and treasured the time she spent with your family. There is comfort for those of us who remain in this world after our loved ones have passed. God's Word as revealed in Psalm 46 is one of my favorites. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea....Be still, and know that I am God." We may not understand all that happens in life, but we can take comfort in God's love for us and His faithful promises. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Love and hugs to all.

Condolence: I knew Carl when we were children and he always had a smile on his face and was always fun to be around. I am very saddened to hear of the sudden loss of him here on this earth but the Lord has a bigger plan over which we have no control. When we lose someone suddenly it is even more difficult to grasp as my brother, Keith, talked about. I know that Carl had many dear close friends as he was a terrific guy who lived his life serving others. I can only offer words that helped me when I also had a sudden loss in my life(my mom). "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." I pray that these words will bring some comfort to your hurting heart. I offer them in love.

Condolence: Carl and I were friends from early childhood. During our twenties we were best friends. I have so many memories of Carl. We shared so much of life. When my mom died, I did not cry until Carl came to where I was in Ohio and I was able to release my emotions. He drove me home several hours to Kalamazoo that day. I remember Carl's competitive spirit. He usually beat me in everything we played. I feel very impacted by the news. To Dawn, Joyce, Roy and Yvonne and family, and Carl's children and other family and friends, may Jesus Christ bring comfort and good to you through this as only He can.
